Must recommend Patrick Suskind's "The Perfume". I didn't know that book had been translated in English. It is truly an experience.

As for films... won't start as I'll probably never end (is a film buff).

Movies, movies
This is the AFI list, correct? I've seen 72 of these movies, myself, and I don't really agree with it. Some of their choices are really puzzling . . . My Fair Lady? Bringing Up Baby? All those Westerns and war movies? Are these really among the greatest films of all time? For example, Bride of Frankenstien was much better than Frankenstein. Where's Tod Browning's Freaks? What about something by David Lynch - Eraserhead, The Elephant Man or Blue Velvet? Or the Evil Dead trilogy, which always brightens my day? Or WILLARD, for crying out loud . . . sigh.
