Government was almost cool. She brought in all these books and books on tape and various other things to "sell" (read: give away) to the class. Including... *gasp* The Buffy first season dvds! I nabbed them right off the bat because I brought her some political parody cds (Capital Steps and Stan Freeburg). Lucky me, hmm? And then I ended up using the fake money (long story, don't ask...) to buy a comic book and two books on the Internet for my dad for Father's Day.
I love free books. I guess the teacher's sister works at a publishing company and gets advance copies of books for free.
I also sang the Schoolhouse Rock version of the Preamble in front of the class. *trembles* "We the people (of the United States) in order to form a more perfect Union establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and esablish this constitution for the Untited States of America."
Yeah... now that's learning, dammit.
Edit: I actually recorded myself singing. Yes, you can now download
my silly version. Don't worry... I'm pretty sure my voice will not put holes in your eardrums.
